Richard Zimpfer

Background

Richard joined Rochem FYREWASH® in 2016 as Financial Accountant, bringing with him a diverse background spanning banking, manufacturing, construction, education and financial management.

His career began as a bank auditor before expanding into a wide variety of accounting and finance roles across both domestic and international banking, the construction industry, manufacturing and the food sector.

Richard has also shared his expertise as a college professor, teaching accounting to the next generation of finance professionals. This breadth of experience has given him a well-roundedunderstanding of financial management across a range of industries.

Richard holds Bachelor's degrees in Management and Accounting, as well as a Master's degree in International Business.

He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), combining strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of how effective financial management supports business growth.

At Rochem FYREWASH®, Richard is responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting activities, helping to ensure accurate reporting, sound financial controls and the information needed to support strategic decision-making.

Since joining the business, he has become an integral part of the team, providing financial insight and supporting the continued growth of the company.

Outside work, Richard enjoys reading, woodworking and pyrography, using his creativity to produce detailed woodburning projects.

He also enjoys spending time outdoors maintaining his yard and relaxing with his family. Richard is married and has one child.
