Ivan Willie

Background

Ivan joined Rochem FYREWASH® in 2014, bringing extensive experience in quality management within the oil and gas industry.

His background in the manufacture of pumps and valves made the role a natural fit and provided a strong foundation for supportingRochem's continued growth.

As Quality Manager, Ivan is responsible for maintaining the company's Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety.

He also leads project and operational planning meetings, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Throughout his time at Rochem FYREWASH®, Ivan has played an important role in improving business processes, encouraging a more structured approach to project management, working practices and operational procedures.

One of his proudest achievements has been leading the successful certification of the company's Integrated Management System to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, alongside delivering the challenging Hyundai E5959 project, which included the manufacture of a bespoke 20,000 litre wash tank for the UAE.

Ivan enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience gained throughout his career and believes that continuous learning is key to personal and professional development. His advice to anyone joining the company is simple: absorb as much information as possible, ask questions and make the most of the expertise around you.

Outside work, Ivan has developed a passion for gardening, taking inspiration from visits to established gardens to continually develop his own.

He also enjoys creating detailed dollhouse miniatures with his partner, Jan, and is currently working on an Art Deco style house.
