Andreas Zaralis

Background

Andreas Zaralis is an independent Full-Stack Software Engineer who has supported Rochem FYREWASH® since January 2024. He is responsible for the development and ongoing management of the company's global website, ensuring it remains secure, reliable and easy for both customers and the Rochem team to use.

After studying Informatics Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia, Andreas completed a Master's degree in Information Systems before beginning his career developing software for local government. He later worked across a range of industries creating web applications and business software before establishing his own consultancy, where he has spent the past eleven years delivering bespoke software solutions for clients around the world.

At Rochem FYREWASH®, Andreas developed the current website and the content management system that allows the marketing team to manage it independently. He also oversees the UK, US, German and Mexican websites, ensuring enquiries, datasheets and customer requests are routed correctly, while maintaining analytics, technical SEO, newsletter integrations and website performance. He is currently leading the development of Rochem's new e-commerce platform, including customer accounts, online ordering, stock management and warehouse fulfilment.

Outside work, Andreas enjoys riding his motorbike, collecting vinyl records and reading. He's also developing an AI tutor to help support his daughter with her schoolwork, combining his passion for technology with family life.
