Alice Murgatroyd

Background

Alice Murgatroyd has been working with Rochem FYREWASH® for more than seven years, creating blogs, website content and industry articles that communicate the company's products, expertise and latest developments to customers around the world.

Following a broad set of A Levels in both sciences and humanities, Alice gained a First Class (Hons) degree in English with Creative Writing before completing a Master's degree with Distinction. During her studies she gained experience with a publishing company producing luxury lifestyle magazines, where she began her career as a professional copywriter. Over the years she has written for organisations including Clipper Tea, Enhanced IT Solutions, Kallo, The National Trust and Waitrose.

When the opportunity arose to work with Rochem FYREWASH®, Alice was able to combine her writing experience with her background in Chemistry, developing a particular interest in engineering and compressor cleaning technology. Today, she enjoys translating complex technical topics into engaging, accessible content that helps customers better understand the company's products and capabilities.

Growing up in Cornwall fostered Alice's love of the sea. Although she no longer SCUBA dives, she enjoys dinghy sailing whenever she can and still lives close to the coast in Poole with her husband, children and pet cat.
