Bill Scott

Background

Bill joined Rochem FYREWASH® in 2025 as a Sales Representative, returning to the gas turbine industry after coming out of retirement. Having known fellow colleague Steve Egelhoff for more than 30 years, he was pleased to accept the opportunity to rejoin the industry and become part of the Rochem team.

Bill first entered the gas turbine industry with Stewart & Stevenson in the early 1990s and has since built more than 35 years of experience in technical sales, business development and sales management.

Throughout his career, he has held senior commercial roles with organisations including Wood Group, TransCanada Turbines, Jet Turbine Services, American Air Filter, ProEnergy Services, Aviation Power &Marine, AAR Corp. and EthosEnergy.

His extensive experience has given him broad knowledge of OEM gas turbines and specialist aftermarket services, with particular expertise in technical sales, developing marketing strategies, territory management and helping customers identify solutions that improve plant performance. Over the years, Bill has successfully introduced new products to market, established new business operations and developed long-standing relationships with customers across the power generation industry.

Today, Bill supports customers across the Rochem FYREWASH® product range, helping operators find effective gas turbine and compressor cleaning solutions while continuing to build on the relationships and industry knowledge developed throughout his career.

Outside work, Bill enjoys travelling and spending time with his family, including his two children and four grandchildren.
